Creating Community
Several times a year, we host gatherings at Maison Les Buis built around carefully chosen themes, created in collaboration with our resident artists. These occasions are more than opportunities to meet a visiting artist; they are invitations to slow down, create, and be inspired together.
Through shared art-making, conversation and experimentation, participants are encouraged to explore new ideas, exchange perspectives and deepen their own creative practice. Set within a warm and convivial atmosphere, these gatherings nurture connection, between people, place and process, and help cultivate a vibrant, engaged creative community.
The Art of Natural Colour
You are warmly invited to join us for this free workshop with artist Judi Pettite, who has been experimenting with natural pigments and making her own colours for many years. In this special evening, Judi will share how we can make paints and inks from plants.
Dreams and the Pillars of the Subconscious
We are delighted to present a solo art display by artist Rebekah Lanier. This exhibition brings together works created during Rebekah’s residency at Maison Les Buis, reflecting an intimate and evolving creative journey shaped by place, time and inner exploration. Rebekah’s work invites viewers to step into a dreamlike space, where memory, intuition and the subconscious intertwine.
